Never Before Offered…Two for One WSCS Registrations!   -  That’s right, WSCS is offering a 2 for 1 for this year’s conference.  Have one program member purchase a registration for the full price of $125,WSCS is offering another registrant from the same member program at NO COST!  Register a 3rd member from the program, the 4th registrant is at NO COST! (Registration cost only – does not include lodging).  WSCS wanted to give back to our membership so others may take advantage and receive the same training.  Some programs aren’t able to send multiple individuals from a program due to cost; however, we hope this will allow multiple board members from a program to attend the conference!

Judge Richard Carter (Ret) We are excited to bring back Judge Carter, a WSCS favorite!  Judge Carter serves As Crime Stoppers USA Legal Director while serving Crime Stoppers programs since the 1970’s. Judge Carter will be present for the entire conference so you may be able to discuss with him any legal questions confronting your organization.  Specifically, Judge Carter will be presenting on: Legal Updates for Crime Stoppers and Do’s and Don’ts of Crime Stoppers programs.

Kevin Anderson  Kevin Anderson is the President/CEO of Anderson Software, creator of P3 Global Intel.  Kevin has been instrumental in Crime Stoppers technology and software since the early 1980’s.  He will be sharing the benefits of obtaining and maintaining Crime Stoppers programs data in an electronic format for efficiency and effectiveness.

Technology Session We will continue a requested one on one training session assisting programs with social media training.  Officer Chad Sullivan (Coordinator-Janesville Area CS) will provide one-on-one training session on social media to include Facebook, Twitter and Google+.  Time will also be devoted discussing the tip taking software tools, TipSoft and,  P3 Global Intel.  Learn how to extract the statistical data for presentation to the board, your command staff or the media.

Table Top Breakout Training Session   Our most popular training session from last year returns with new scenarios!  We have searched for some common issues confronting local Crime Stoppers programs and have small groups work on developing a correction action plan to resolve the situation.  Groups report out their plans to gain additional interactive class participation.

Getting Younger Generations Involved in Crime Stoppers  Is your organization having difficulty recruiting younger/millennials to your board? This is a consistent message heard from Crime Stoppers programs from around the US.  Join us for this presentation to hear some methods on improving success in recruiting these needed individuals!

Crime Stoppers Tailgate and History and Trivia Contest!   Join us on Thursday evening for our annual Tailgate Party and Trivial Quiz.  Reacquaint with your fellow Crime Stoppers friends, enjoy some tailgate food items and enjoy some beverages.  Bring your Tom Terrific Thinking Cap and perhaps win a fabulous prize playing the Crime Stoppers Trivia contest!
